Smart Collar for Dogs
Collar sizing
- Measure the neck circumference in a sitting or standing position.
(The measurement cannot be made accurately while the patient is asleep.) - Using a measuring tape, measure the narrow part of the neck. (about two fingers behind the base of the ear)
- The measure should be placed as close as possible to the ground surface.
(Dogs with long and abundant hair should be measured by brushing the hair as close to the skin as possible.)
- Adjust the length of the collar belt so that it is 2 cm to 3 cm longer than the measurement.
- Attach the collar, adjusted in length, to your dog. (Buckles are securely fastened until they "click" into place.)
- Attach the leash's swivel snap hook (metal fittings for attaching the leash
to the collar) to both of the two D-rings
on either side of the buckle. (Only one D-ring on each side cannot be attached.)
(Excluding 2XS size collars for very small dogs)
- The appropriate size is about one or two fingers of the hand between the neck and the collar.
- If it is loose or tight, fine adjustments are made.
- Pull the collar upward and make sure it does not slip out of your dog's neck and come off.
- Puppies grow quickly and should be checked frequently to make sure their collars are not too tight.
- For collars with W-rings, when both D-rings are not attached to the leash's
swivel snap hook
(metal fittings for attaching the leash to the collar), (When wearing only the collar) The size will be slightly longer
due to the structure of the collar.
Notes
- This collar is for pets only. Do not use it for any other purpose.
- Please be sure to adjust to the appropriate size for your dog's neck circumference.
If it is loose, it will slip out of the neck and come off, leading to unexpected accidents.
If it is too tight, it can cause stress and lead to illness or accidents. - Always inspect and check the belt portion of the collar for fraying or
breaks, and the buckle and adjuster for cracks or
damage before attaching the collar.
- If the collar is defective or damaged, do not use it for safety reasons.
- When attaching a leash to a dog collar, the two D-rings on either side
of the collar buckle must be attached to the
leash's swivel snap hook (metal fittings for attaching the leash to the collar).
(Attaching only one D-ring on each side is not acceptable) (except for collars for very small dogs). - Depending on the dog's body shape and movements, the swivel snap hook of
the leash may come off from the D-ring
of the collar. Please be aware that you should always keep an eye on your dog when using a leash and take sufficient
safety precautions at your own risk.
- Due to the nature of the material of the collar, it is sensitive to heat,
so please keep it away from the stoves,
gas stoves, and fire. - When washing the collar, use a detergent specially designed for pet care
products and wash by hand with a soft brush.
Rinse well with fresh water, then pat dry with a dry towel or paper towel, and hang dry in the shade. - Do not iron.
- Do not use a washer and dryer.
